Course Modules: My high school works on a 1 hour block schedule with three to four class meetings per week. I will have approximately 110 contact hours before the AP exam in May. To move through the course efficiently and effectively I have organized the content into digestible modules. As you explore the resources available on APUSH Online, please keep in mind that they are built around each of the modules.

Writing Handbook: Designed to work the historical thinking and writing skills necessary for success on the Advanced Placement national exam, this handbook has a collection of writing strategies and resources that can be adjusted to meet the needs of your AP program. Includes suggestions on thesis writing and document analysis as well as a collection of DBQ, LEQ and SAQ prompts. Coming Summer 2020

Student Notes: This resource contains over 400 pages of print ready notes aligned with  the Advanced Placement United States History curriculum. In addition to notes and graphics in the hard copy handouts, you can access the web-based version of all class notes on my course website. This collection of editable student notes includes two essential elements: cover page biographies for each time period/module and distinct headings and subheadings. Each unique cover page presents a visual preview (or review) of the 12 individual or groups who will be used to help tell the larger story of the time period being studied.

Time Period Review: Designed to be a chronological review of the time period, each file contains the distinct headings and sub headings aligned with the student notes. As we explored each Time Period in class students are presented these documents as a quick review of the essential content by focusing in five key points.

Document Readers: Designed to embed document analysis into the fabric of your program, this collection of editable document readers is aligned with each Time Period module. Each reader contain 10-30 essential documents for analysis activities and exercises. Coming Summer 2020

American Pageant Guided Readings: In order to cover the content efficiently and effectively, I have created a student work book guides students through the course, providing the foundation necessary to fuel class discussions and complement instructor lectures. The workbook is aligned with The American Pageant (Houghton Mifflin, 13th Edition, 2005).
